+Pheonix is an archetype that offers the ultimate insurance against death, but only in a very scarce quantity. Until your limited resurrections are used, they take up an ability slot that would otherwise be providing you with something you could actually use. After they're used, they become a new archetype... but not always necessarily one you were planning on taking. Advanced abilities provide very limited functionality in and of themselves but also let you cheat death once more for every one you learn.
