Grinder

Utility plus-circlePay the Bills: In between adventures, you work a real job- nothing glamorous, but honest. You decide exactly what it is; check the chart below if you want some inspiration. At the beginning of each new session, you may collect your paycheck (minus expenses): 1-4 Dosh. Roll a die: 1-3 means 1 Dosh, 4-6 means 2, 7-9 means 3, and 10+ means 4.

minus-circleNot Trigger Dice: The die you roll to determine how much Dosh your job brings you is not a trigger die and thus cannot be manipulated by any abilities that alter trigger dice.

plus-circleReplaceable: If you ever lose your job for any reason (like you and your adventurer pals needing to leave town in a hurry, maybe) you can easily find a new one doing pretty much the same thing anywhere you want (within civilization, anyway) with no questions asked.

minus-circlePart-Timer: If you use a Grinder keystone to temporarily gain this class, your paycheck is always exactly 1 Dosh.

Office Hero

Social plus-circleMake Money, Make Friends: You're very skilled at getting along with your bosses and co-workers, allowing you to create a network of contacts quickly. At the beginning of each session when you collect your pay, you may also roll to increase your relationship with two different NPCs that you work with at your day job.

plus-circleGeneration: If you've already established some of your co-workers as NPCs, you can roll to improve your relationship with them as normal. If you haven't (or if you'd rather not), the referee or yourself can make some more up on the spot- give them a name, a brief description, and maybe an interesting fact or two.

plus-circleJust The Guy: You work with a lot of interesting people. Unlike most NPCs which are strictly under the control of the referee, you have some degree of metagame control over the backgrounds and talents of the friends you make from work. Once per session, you can declare that anybody you've befriended with this ability has a hidden talent, interest, or opportunity relevant to the situation at hand that they would be willing to use to help you out (such as “Richard speaks Estonian, he could translate this for us”, “Mariposa is actually half-elven, she could introduce us to an elf”, or “Dargo lives near the docks, he could let us crash there while we do the stakeout.”) The referee can veto anything that seems really bizarre or unlikely, but otherwise you're in charge here.

Turnover

Utility plus-circleJack of All Trades: You can do pretty much any job you set your mind to so long as it doesn't involve too much advanced, specialized training. Any time you switch jobs, you can choose a completely different one to do if you want.
Utility plus-circleBeautiful Resume: You have so much experience both with work and interviewing to get it that you can get hired on at any establishment, business, mansion, or whatever else with no questions asked simply by saying you'd like to work there. This can be very handy for purposes of casing, infiltration, or espionage as well as providing you with your normal paycheck.

Enterprises

Grinder School The settlement hosts an institution that teaches the secrets of this class for a small fee. Keystones of this class can be purchased here for 1 Dosh each.
