Utility | plus-circleMonkey See: If you see something being done, you can copy it… once. When an ally takes any action within 5 meters of your location, you can spend an action of your own during the same turn to mimic it. plus-circleMonkey Do: If the mimicked actin was granted by a class (such as most weapon attacks), then you are considered to have the relevant class for the instant it takes to mimic the action. If the mimicked action is granted by an advanced ability from a class, you are considered to have both the class and the relevant advanced ability for the instant it takes to mimic the action. plus-circlePersonalized: Mimicked actions use your own position, combat statistics and trigger die (if relevant). If the mimicked action costs resources (Provisions, Supplies, or Mojo), you must pay it and you cannot mimic an ability that potentially costs resources if you do not currently have any appropriate resources of your own remaining. If you know any abilities that would potentially upgrade an action you are mimicking (such as an elemental class adding a condition to a weapon attack) then they are applied as normal to the mimicked action. minus-circleLimits: You can only mimic actions taken by allies, not enemies. You can only mimic actions taken during the same phase by an ally that has taken their action before you- anything they did last round is irrelevant. Mimicry only momentarily grants you the bare minimum class (and maybe one advanced ability) required for you to produce the same effect as your ally; it does not grant any additional bonuses or modifications the original effect had due to other abilities known by the ally you're mimicking such as added conditions, range enhancements, etc. As soon as you've used the mimicked ability, you lose access to the granted class/ability. |
